Good Luck, Amber!

Next weekend will be Amber’s final official weekend at the Perk, but we’re hoping she’ll grace us with her presence periodically in the future!  We know you’ll need your coffee shop fix!  She landed herself a great full time job with benefits and a change of pace.  Good luck, Amber!  We’re happy for you, and your student loans!  To stay in contact with Amber and her writings, please check out her blog at supernovaremnant@blogspot.com

HAPPENING IN OUR COMMUNITY (AND NATION):

We recognize that the federal governmentt is not the enemy of the people,
but the expression of our collective will…
As voters & volunteers, we will support leaders who work toward positive solutions,
and hold accountable those who obstruct them. – CIVILITY PLEDGE

According to the Coffee Party’s Twitter page, the coffee party is  an alternative to the Tea Party, for Americans who wish to participate in the democratic process but prefer to do so in a reality-based,
solutions-oriented way.
