WELCOME, Jason “Bear” Berrett

~ as an OFFICIAL contributor to Wash Perk.  I say official, because Bear has contributed in so many ways to WP since our doors opened in 2008.  He is a dear friend with 15 years retail and management experience and I don’t know a kinder, more hard-working man.  We are so proud to welcome him, and we hope he will assist in restoring Teri to sanity…. at least slightly.   He is helping in every way he can, beginning with improving our retail area and supporting our non-profit efforts.   A message from Bear: “We’re getting ready to start auctioning off items donated by Chase Heiliman/Photographer, Kyle Quincey/Professional Athlete, NHL and Ryan O’reilly/Professional Athlete, NHL. We’ll have silent auction clip boards hanging on the pillars or walls by the items and all proceeds will go to Ben and I Play for Peace and The National MS Society. If you have any questions feel free to contact me by FB- Jason Berrett Thank you for your support!!”

PLANTERS: Our shop planters have been adopted and planted by GROW,  Krazy Lawn Gal, Infinite Future and ReVision International.  They all look so beautiful already.  We are fortunate to have such great peeps give so much for our general benefit. They have designed, paid for or grew from seed and installed their planters. Most importantly,  these peeps are generously adding to the collaborative atmosphere of Wash Perk.  THANK YOU, Kristen, Esther, Craig and Eric.  And we finally have our “wormies” set up for composting on patio, thanks to Julie North.

WASH PERK BOARD GAME: Kelly O’Laughlin made us a wonderful board game before she left for Italy.  We played this past week and the game is at the shop for anyone to play.  She made it so that the rules can be added to as well as the questions on the game cards.  It’s very fun, and very Perky :-P
