INTRODUCING SIMPLE SUGAR BAKERY

SATURDAY Sept. 18th, 9am-11am Meet the Simple Sugar Bakers and try FREE SAMPLES! Yummmmmmm…

Beginning Tuesday, September 21st, we will be carrying the amazing and freshly baked products of Simple Sugar.  They are so local (just across the park), they are just starting out, and they are very committed to quality.  Wash Perk loves to try new things and offer a variety of fresh local options.  Simple Sugar will provide products that we have been missing: Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing, Quiche, Sugar Cookies w/Icing and sprinkles, Ginger-Peach scones, Banana/Coconut/Lime Bread……. Please come try their stuff and give us your feedback :-D    Here’s a little about them:

Who is Simple Sugar, and what sets us apart?

We are three women who love food, who appreciate great food. The mass-produced desserts that are readily available are not foods we wanted to eat or to serve. We create desserts that we want to eat, sweets that we feel good about serving to our loved ones. Not everyone has the time to make two dozen personalized mini cupcakes for their child’s school holiday party, or the desire to make a scrumptious layer cake for a special dinner, but baking those treats is what we love to do.

We came together with a common vision and a wealth of career and life experiences (MBA, public relations executive, stay-at-home mother) to create Simple Sugar. Our goal is simple: to make delicious baked goods with fresh, wholesome ingredients that you will be proud to serve to your friends and family.*
