EVENTS AT WASH PERK


HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Kaladi Brothers Coffee is having their annual fundraiser on January 1st and we have decided to be closed so our customers can support them! The fundraiser that Kaladi Brothers is hosting is called Coffee Kids.  Visit http://www.coffeekids.org/
for information about their mission.  Again, the shop will be closed New Years day. Visit Kaladi, support our partner, and support a good cause.

EVENTS AROUND WASHINGTON PARK

Denver Boot Camp

Saturday, January 2, 10am – 11am at the Washington Park Recreation Center (1096 South Gaylord Street)
Denver Boot Camp is becoming the biggest program in Denver. It is already the toughest, but worth the results. For both men and women, it is the program if you want to burn over 1000 calories in an hour, while slashing pounds of fat and toning your muscles. The program is perfect for everyone because you are pushed to your own personal limits. We have everyone out there; the out of shape, new moms, future brides, marathon runners, and triathalon participants. Ticket Info: $7 FIRST CLASS FREE.  This is a weekly class. All participants receive FREE medium drink at Wash Perk.(FIRST VISIT ONLY!) http://www.washparkbootcamp.com

On a Lark needs to move stuff out!!!!  We’re making room for Wash Perk’s expansion, so we’re offering you great discounts on our inventory!

We will be open  Sunday 10-3, Monday 10-5, Tuesday 10-5, and Wednesday 10-5.  We will then close for the expansion preparation, and will be closed December 31-January 9th.  (Wash Perk will only be closed Jan. 1)

UPDATE ON EXPANSION: The expansion of seating will still take place on Jan 5th, but we will not take the wall down.  The bid got to a totally impractical amount and the city was not making it any easier!  The good news is that we won’t need to close on the 4th and 5th in order to do it.  Thank you again for all your support and patience with our tight, cozy quarters. :lol:

PLEASE keep helping Janice to make space at On A Lark buy shopping there this week!!!!  Lots of big sale prices throughout store!

Energy Series – meeting once a month, with speakers on different topics that revolve around Energy – renewable energy, conservation, sustainability, etc. This upcoming month’s program (October 27) will be hosting speakers from the Mountain Top Removal Appalachian Voices and someone from the Project to Relocate and Assist Environmental Refugees.
