Not For Sale Event from 1pm – 5pm

Join us for an Modern Day Slavery Awareness Event www.notforsalecampaign.org

The Not for Sale Campaign combines technology, intellectual capital, abolitionist groups and a growing network of individuals joined together to end slavery in our lifetime. Igniting and aiding this comprehensive response is the Not For Sale Campaign’s purpose. Our collective challenge is simple, stand with those who are enslaved, work together to free them, and empower them in their freedom to break the cycle of vulnerability.

AND, at Washington Park:

Denver Boot Camps is becoming the biggest program in Denver. It is already the toughest, but worth the results. For both men and women, it is the program if you want to burn over 1000 calories in an hour, while slashing pounds of fat and toning your muscles. It’s a great way to tone that sexy female body or to lose those love handles for the guys. The instructor is someone, who’s actually been to boot camp, a former Marine. The program is perfect for everyone because you are pushed to your own personal limits. We have everyone out there; the out of shape, new moms, future brides, marathon runners, and triathlon participants.

Fall Shade Tree Program

Excerted from the WWPNA email:

IMGP9705Each spring, Denver Digs Trees brings you low-cost and free street trees.

This fall, we’re pleased to announce…

Fall Shade Trees for Your Yard!

These medium and large sized trees, strategically planted in your yard (on

private property), will help you save money and fight global warming by

providing valuable energy-saving shade for your home. Properly placed trees

can lower a building’s air conditioning use by 30% – this means lower

energy bills and less carbon released into the atmosphere! Shade trees also

beautify your space, enhance property values (up to 10%!), reduce air

pollution, buffer noise, and provide shelter for birds and other wildlife.

These trees are low-cost for Denver residents – only $25 each! (trees this

size usually sell for more than $100)

Learn more and Download your Shade Tree Application:
